The Cardboard Box
Astro partners with local recycling initiatives around Massachusetts to properly collect and recycle the cardboard containers used to initially package new toner cartridges.
The Plastic Bag
That heavy plastic bag that holds the toner cartridge is made from oil byproducts and is usually thrown away by just about everyone. When companies become our clients, we encourage them to give us any remaining bags. We fill them with recycled newspaper, heat-seal them, and use them as packaging for shipping our cartridges.
The Toner Cartridge
Thousands of toner cartridges are produced in a year. Companies all around Massachusetts use hundreds in a year. All of those have the potential of being thrown away in garbage dumps and landfills.
The Toner
Astro refills toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges. The quality of our "first generation" or "virgin" cartridges is on par with new ones but with far less impact on the environment. We guarantee that our refill and test process will supply your company with a cartridge that will perform as well or better than the original.
